The Wikipedia entry for “Mons pubis” is all sorts of WTF. Starting with the accompanying Girls Gone Wild-esque image and continuing on through to the “See also” section.
I just got the check for a 1,200 word piece I labored for 3 days on. $150. I still count myself lucky that I get paid to write at all, but geez.
Update: I retract my whining about that check and am going to call myself out for being totally full of shit because, as my husband just pointed out, “that’s not actually what you got paid.” (It’s a long story.) Speaking of whiny...

This New Yorker article is to stupid as their Scientology piece was to crazy. Of the many insane, jaw-droppingly stupid quotes attributed to film producers featured in Tad Friend’s piece about women, film and comedy, this is my favorite:
“Both men and women can relate to Kevin James in ‘Paul Blart: Mall Cop,’ who’s the little guy being shat upon.”
